While incorporated only in 2013 as a high-quality handcrafted product design company, Dimzique Jewellery can trace its foundation as far back as the year 2006 when its founder, Ms Yvonne Manyiki, launched Yvonne Designs as a sole proprietor buying and selling ladies’ accessories such as jewellery, watches, bags and hats and operated a stall at the Top Deck of the Cape Town Train Station.

Yvonne Designs itself traces its inspiration as far back as 2002 when Yvonne was first exposed to the arts and craft market at her very first job working as a sales person in one of the craft market stalls in Cape Town shortly after arriving in the mother city. It is this very personal journey of discovering passion through exposure to economic opportunities that continues to inspire Yvonne to structure Dimzique Jewelleryas a creative and design company.

Dimzique Jewellery continues to be an inspiration for young and old alike – specializing in a wide variety of high quality handcrafted unique and contemporary beaded jewellery designs that are locally manufactured by our dedicated and creative partners.

Dimzique Jewellery sought to incorporate sustainable socio-economic development into the business through the empowerment of local women, youth and people with disabilities from within the marginalized communities – most of whom are trained to work from the comfort of their homes as most are unemployed housewives with not prior skills or job prospects.

As trusted partners to the business, these local women, youth and people with disabilities have undergone rigorous training and development over the years to ensure that they are adequately skilled to produce any of the Dimzique Jewellery product range – which to date is over 270.
